Postoperative hematoma
I'm developing query templates and coding guidelines to help address insignificant postoperative hematomas that require only routine attention. Providers sometimes document "postop hematoma" for seemingly insignificant occurrences. We're trying to tease out significant vs insignificant. Is anyone able to share guidelines, query templates, or offer recommendations or advice on effective strategies for dealing with these scenarios?
