Demand ischemia and MI type 2 codes

Good Morning

Can anyone tell me when did Demand Ischemia and MI type 2 codes came into effect?  Was these codes used prior to October 2017?

    Demand ischemia is coded as I24.8 (Other forms of acute ischemic heart disease) and that is part of the ICD-10-CM code set adopted in 2015.  The code for Type II myocardial infraction, I21.81 was added in 2017.

    Type 2 MI (code I21.A1) was added to ICD-10 for FY 2018 effective 10/1/17.
