CDI in Critical Access Hospitals

I am looking for resources and information on how CDI practices can help critical access hospitals. It is my understanding that they are not paid under the IPPS by Medicare, but have a different payment structure. How do you show financial impact for these hospitals? How can CDI benefit their quality metrics? What data would you need to analyze to look for the need for CDI in a Critical Access Hospital?
