Physician CDI vs. Champion

We’ve finally been given the go ahead to develop a physician CDI/Champion position. I want to be sure I cover all of the right bases. I’d love feedback on the type of responsibilities your physician champions take on.  If anyone is willing to share a job description that would be appreciated as well. Thanks in advance for all of your input on this. I feel like we really missed out on having this resource on our team and we are excited to move forward.
