ICH due to Amyloid Angiopathy

Which would you sequence as principal dx, the ICH (acute presentation) or the Amyloid (E85.4): after work-up ICH was decided to be due to Amyloid (cerebral) angiopathy (E85.4, I68.0)?

    Neither code cited:  I’d code the ICH as the PDX: “the acute condition that caused the admission”.    A code from I61X series should be used as the PDX.   The ICH is the acute condition causing the admission.
