CDI New Process
We will being starting a new process within the next few
months and I wanted to ask you a couple of questions. The CDI specialist will
be dedicated to the Emergency Center tasked with reviewing all admission
documentation, generating the working DRG and GMLOS, and querying providers as
appropriate. Do your CDI Specialist review cases in the EC?
Do the CDI Specialist participate in a daily huddle with providers and other Interdisciplinary Care teams?
If a verbal conversation is done with the provider how do you capture the query?
Is the working DRG and GMLOS visible to the provider?
What is your workflow process?
