Query responses
As we implement a new software platform, we are trying to define provider query responses for the database - please share how your facility defines the following :
No response - perhaps is self explanatory - however how do you categorize "clinically insignificant or UTD" responses that don't fall into "agree or disagree" definitions
Agree - does the provider have to agree with one of the CDS's query options? What options should we consider as "agree" in this category
If one of the multiple choice options is "other condition/diagnosis", and the provider documents another condition, does that count as an agree or disagree?
Disagree - How do you evaluate this, and what type of responses fall into this category?

Answer: These are when a physician doesn't answer and we close the query without a response. Our software now allows for tracking unable to determine and clinically insignificant options (Optum 360), but prior to this - we used disagree as an option so I could track them (we have few disagrees, so it let me identify them easily)

Answer: we use an agree as long as they give us a valid diagnosis. It doesn't have to be the one we were "going after" - just a valid diagnosis provided

Answer: Agree - they have provided us with a valid diagnosis
Disagree - How do you evaluate this, and what type of responses fall into this category?
Answer: We use these when the provider answers as disagree. When we do clinical validation queries and they keep their diagnosis - that is also a disagree
