Acute Cor Pulmonale
How is everyone coding acute cor pulmonale due to pulmonary hypertension without pulmonary embolism?
Has there been any updated guidance since the Coding Clinic in 2014? Also how does that square with the I110 code now?
A discussion on this in 2015 on these forums seems to conclude that acute cor pulmonale shouldn't be reported without pulmonary embolism...
