CDI Department Metrics
I'm wanting to add some quality metrics for this new fiscal year. Is anyone using HCC impact capture rate per encounters. What about SOI/ROM shifts from Queries. If so what are you metric goals that you are utilizing. I've also heard that Validation query impacts might also be a new metric.
Any insight to some new metrics would be most helpful. We already use the standard Query rates with response and agree rates. We have also recently gone to all payor and utilize the prioritization functionality of 3M 360e. What are you using for metric goals for payors reviewed. I'm planning on going with M'care/Other Payors. We had been 99% for Medicare prior to all payors. Thinking this might need to be lowered. Other payors maybe 75%??
