Pacer Wire infection on chronic suppressive therapy
Pt. presented with history of Strep pyogenes bacteremia in January 2021, with pacer wire vegetation. Initial plan for pacer explantation was ultimately not done. Pt. is on chronic suppressive penicillin. Would you assign T82.7XXA. Would Coding Clinic 2nd Qtr. 2006 p. 13 support assigning this code. Thanks
