CDI RN involvement in nurse council

This is a really random question. I am wondering if any of the CDI RNs are involved in or have representation on your nurse councils? I have not been involved in mine so far,and am the only CDI RN in my facility. I am just curious if anyone does have involvement and if you have found any benefit to it, either personal or documentation improvement/integrity benefits?
