Physician Advisors Documenting in the EHR
Hello everyone, Banner Health is growing our Physician Advisors role and we have a few questions.
- It what scenario do your Physician Advisors document within the health record?
Scenario 1: There is an unanswered query within the record, the Provider has a question and wishes to engage in a peer to peer conversation with the Physician Advisor, rather than speaking to the CDS. After that conversation the Provider replies to the query. Does the Physician Advisor enter a note within the record documenting the conversation about the query?
Scenario 2: There is an answered query within the record and the reply is questioned. The Physician Advisor approaches the Provider to review the reply and the query. Out of that conversation the query reply is amended and the documentation is changed. Does the Physician Advisor enter a note within the record documenting the conversation about the updated query reply?
2.If /when the Physician Advisors make a note in the EHR do they use an agreed upon template?
