Schizoaffective disorder, Bipolar type
Does anyone know of a resource or if you can code F250 Schizoaffective disorder, bipolar type and also F3132 Bipolar Disorder, current episode depressed, moderate to further specify the Bipolar. Another example would be F251 Schizoaffective Disorder, depressive type with F331 major depressive disorder recurrent, moderate for further specify the depressive type. Our coders are not wanting to pick up the secondary code, but you do not get an excludes note. I can't find a resource or help. Thanks
