OB patients GMLOS

Hi all,

I'm trying to find information on how the GMLOS is figured for Obstetrical patients? We're having some physicians asking why there seems to be a financial loss with a discrepancy in LOS?

For instance. A patient admitted for an induction of labor on 3/2, delivers via C/S on 3/4 and d/c home on 3/6. We're seeing LOS of 2.7 days but obviously their admission was 5 days total. Any help is appreciated.
