    Things we look for:
    length of time pt is intubated
    chronic &/or acute resp failure
    resp insufficiency following surgery, shock and trauma

    Value of good documentation toward determining:
    *BMI with inclusion of dx & REASON THE BMI IMPACTS anesthesia management.
    *Importance and value of VS trends, meds administered, IVF management, labs, etc. toward supporting dx's such as ABLA, possibly shock, etc.
    *Importance and value for chronic meds and conditions -- either as a validation of other documented conditions, or as a touch point to investigate and establish additional previously not documented conditions
