Is there anyone from Alabama that would be willing to discuss what they know regarding the trial Medicaid RAC? We heard Alabama is the trial state?? If so could you share what the letters look like and what they are finding?

I looked and looked to see if I could find information for you, but nothing turned up on the web. I think these processes are still being defined and as far as I can tell, the implementation of the Medicaid RAC program isn't here yet -- no demand letters, etc.

I would keep checking on your state hospital association's web page to follow up on this. When I looked, I didn't see anything on Alabama's page, but usually the state hospital association web pages generally have areas for the RAC.

I guess no news is good news right now. Here is a link to a notice from CMS about delaying the implementation of Medicaid RACs:
