Pulmonary embolism
A few years ago I was taught(can't remember source) that if PE or DVT found within 2 days of admission, it should be considered present on admission. Some coders I work with agree with me while some don't. Can someone please give me some advice?

I do not think that is a rule. There are many times people have worked somewhere that had an internal practice. It's not unreasonable but it usually would require a query unless provider address POA status on their own.
