Organizational Reporting Structure

Hello,

My organization is going through a department restructure, and we are looking for references from our peers as a navigation tool. Our department includes CDI, HCC, Clinical Denials, and UR. We currently operate under the umbrella the Chief Medical Quality Officer. Would anyone be willing to share their organizational structure? Thank you!

    Director of CDI

    CDI Manager

    2 Supervisors

    4 Coordinators - educate and audit about 15 staff members each the Coordinators

    CDIS level II - these team members are at the facility once to twice a week

    CDIS reviewers

    Can you elaborate a little bit more on the different job responsibilities between the Manager, supervisors, and your coordinators? Our structure currently has one director, 2 Managers, and then our CDSs (I-III). We do not have supervisors or coordinators so I am interested in their roles. Thank you! boota@musc.edu
