Pediatric and Neonatal Quality Reviews
Can anyone help me better understand the impact of removing quality indicators in the pediatric space? My understanding is that there are no real financial incentives. Where is pediatric quality data published to the public? Are there other reasons to review that should be considered?
I see opportunities to remove them with coding, documentation and admit type/source corrections, but am unclear about the value it will provide compared to the time investment.
For background, I am very familiar with the impacts that quality reviews for PSIs an HACs have in the adult world.
Thank you!
