Pediatric Heart Failure

My facility is working to come up with a definition for heart failure, specifically in our congenital heart program. I have the ACDIS paper from 2019 and the 2024 AHA Scientific Statement as references.

Would any of my fellow peds cardiac CDI have a clinical definitions policy in place that you are willing to share? My providers are documenting "heart failure due to CHD" or over-circulation only.
