RE: [MARKETING] CCS

I also would like to hear if any clinical Documentation Specialists have
a CCS or CCA. I am in the process of finishing up a coding certificate
program at a local community college. I am trying to decide now if I
should try for the CCA or CCS credential. I hear that the CCS is a hard
exam and usually only taken after many years of coding experience. I'm
wondering if I should study and practice for the CCS or just get the
entry level CCA. I would like to maybe code one day. This is not a
requirement for my job, I am doing this on my own time. Any CDIS out
there with a coding background or any suggestions?
