When looking at Medicare CMI does it matter if Medicare is a primary or secondary insurance?

    CMIs that are run by payer are probably based on the primary payer.
    Consequently I would think that the secondary Medicare patients would
    not be included in the Medicare CMI since primary payment is not coming
    from Medicare. However it would depend on how your facility has the
    parameters set up.
