RE: [MARKETING] RE: CDS Grade Levels
I started working for my hospital as an ICU social worker and was
transitioned into the CDS role in our new CDI program about a year
later. My salary was kept the same. So I believe our CDS salaries are
also on par with case management. As far as getting a bonus for getting
the CCDS currently that is not an incentive. I have asked my supervisor
about this since I know if coders get their CCS they get a bonus. My
supervisor said she would look into it but I haven't heard anything back
yet to make me think I could get a bonus if I get my CCS or CCDS.
