DVT Documentation
I am looking for some coding expertise here (as usual).
I had someone ask me the other day about performing a query to specify
which vein a DVT was located in. My question is if an ultrasound had
been done, if those results could be used to code the vein with the DVT,
much as an x-ray is used to code the specifics of a fracture?
Thanks in advance for the help.

specific location and have never been questioned about it by reviewers
or auditors. As you said, I figure the same logic applies as with fxs
and radiology.
