RE: [MARKETING] Physician Champions
We have a physician champion. Our physician champion meets with the CDI
team for one hour once a week to discuss the program and answer any
questions we have. We are hoping that the Physician will feel
comfortable speaking with certain docs who are not answering our
queries. Currently our Physician champion is presenting a brief
documentation lecture to certain groups within the hospital including
incoming residents/interns, etc. Our physician champion also acts a
liaison between the CDI program and administration. I know our physician
champion does receive a salary but I don't know what it is.
