Making it official redux
Wow, looks like defining ambiguous diagnoses is an issue for a lot of
us. I've just started working with one of our nephrologists on acute
renal failure. We had been seeing a lot of inconsistent documentation of
this particular diagnosis.
It strikes me that ACDIS may want to look at developing guidelines for
acute renal failure, acute and chronic respiratory failure,
malnutrition, supply-demand MI, almost MI, maybe it's an MI if you're a
cardiologist but not if you're an FP, it can't be an MI if there's no
coronary occlusion.........I know you've heard them all.
