I also have had a dietician question my query writing process for the
diagnosis of malnutrition. We typically query due to diagnoses and
clinical indicators and often include an albumin level. The dietician
had concerns about us using an albumin level in our query and tried to
explain to me her concerns regarding our query. In the end I couldn't
quite understand her point, and she couldn't quite understand mine so I
suppose we agreed to disagree. Like you said, we don't tell the
physicians what to write we simply ask for clarification if a condition
DOES exist.
