RE: RE:[MARKETING] malnutrition
I involved the dietitians from the beginning and brought them wonderful cupcakes:) I educated them about CDI and the query process. I use their documentation to help support my query. I like having the additional expertise of the dietitians. Several of the physicians I work with are not aware of the criteria for the severity of the malnutrition and rely on the dietitians. It also makes me feel more secure about my query when dealing with RACs.
