Charging for blood transfusions
Hello All,
I have been asked to check with my colleagues if any other institution is charging separately for nursing time involved with blood transfusions? This is for any blood transfusion: in or out patient status. If so, what documentation do you need / require to be able to do this? I am not aware of any opportunity that would allow this for an inpatient. I would appreciate any assistance.
