CORRECTION! CDI Week: Day Four Trivia WINNERS

I should pay a visit to my high school math teacher and ask her for some tutoring lessons.
Thanks to Linda Steinhoff who tracked down evidence that the first CCDS Exam was, in fact, held in Vegas in 2009!
There were 17 individuals who guessed this and put the number of CCDS at 600+.
I will give those who responded with the correct answer a copy of Robert Gold's "Documentation Strategies to Support Severity of Illness."
I apologize for my mistake and thank you all again for playing.
Please e-mail me if you have any questions or concerns at mvarnavas@cdiassociation.com

It was May 16, 2009 to be exact - I have my certification framed and hanging on the wall by my desk here at work!! I was one of the guinea pigs for that first exam :o).
It's been a great week! The case managers in our department have done something for us every day, our program audit went very well and showed we needed additional staffing. Other great recommendations were for our own CDI manager and a physician advisor. Our VP is in agreement with the additional staffing, and program manager, as well as in-depth training for ICD-10! The only thing that would have pleased me more would be to have been awarded a red Ferrari. Oh and the physician advisor or course!! Hope everyone else out there is having an awesome CDIS week!!!
