Can anyone help me with what may be the national average % for Clinical Documentation Specialist working DRG matching the Coder Final DRG. Or what the expected average may be?

    The company that works w/ us says we should meet a standard of 80%. We meet that and above but to our team it serves no real purpose to record that data. We are a program > 10 years old and that exercise is one done in futility.
    There are so many factors affecting the Final Coded DRG. Julie explained it very well in her e-mail and their record keeping seems so much more sound.
