We do not currently do NICU / peds / ob reviews. However, we've been doing a series of work on mortality & profiling measures. Recently, have received interest from NICU doc's more about the LOS profiling. They seem to be very interested in digging in and finding out why the profiling is so weak in that area.
For your docs, if you have access (such as University Healthsystems Consortium, APR-DRG) to profiling data & models, that is a very likely strong motivation. To be able to show how they compare to their peers (assuming the comparison is unfavorable) and show them how to legitimately improve -- very powerful.
