Are your CDIs performing Case Mgt Duties?

I would like to hear about any organizations that have their CDIs doing Case Mgt duties also.  Pros and cons would be helpful.

    No, they do not. I can't imagine how they would manage both roles successfully. My friends in the industry have told me that when  CDI does both, the CDI function falls to the wayside with CM duties taking precedent.
