Query Response Times

At Michigan Medicine we are discussing adding our expectations of query response turn around times on the queries. Example: at the bottom of the query templates stating, response is appreciated within 3 days of reciept.

Has anyone put something like this into practice?

Does anyone see any complaince issues with this language?

    Hi Sherri,

    Great question. ACDIS encourages organizations to come up with policies for escalation. I don't feel there is anything non-compliant when asking for a response within 3 days as long as it is within your organization's standards.
