Malnutrition in burn patients

How can go about querying for malnutrition for burn patients.  I look at their Prealbumins, and albumins they are low most of the time. but their bodies go through a lot of changes because of the burn. Help please!

    I would suggest working with your dietitians.  Burn patients are going to have increased caloric and protein needs and my bet is they are working with this patient already. There is a of literature out there that addresses the nutritional needs of these patients. compare weight from admission- are you seeing significant weight loss, loss of muscle mass, poor healing?
